Things to do before I kick the bucket

Recently, I’ve realized there are so many things I want to do in life. Most of these things revolve around travel. So I made a bucket list. But I’m not going to call it that—it’s my “things to do before I die” list. And unlike many I’ve seen, mine is pretty realistic.

  2. Learn to surf
  3. Ride a jet ski
  4. Learn to play golf well
  5. Do a Polar Bear Plunge
  6. Ride horseback on the beach
  7. Learn to snowboard
  8. Tour Europe
  9. Go to a real blues bar in Chicago
  10. Go back to the Grand Ole Opry
  11. Take dance lessons
  12. Go scuba diving
  13. Swim with dolphins
  14. Cliff jump
  15. Go sky diving
  16. Ride in a hot air balloon
  17. Attend a music festival
  18. Learn to drive a stick
  19. Go backpacking
  20. Go rock climbing outdoors
  21. Drive all along Route 66route66map8
  22. Go zorbing
  23. See the Seven Wonders of the World
  24. Drink coffee in the first Starbucks in Seattle
  25. Attend a movie premiere
  26. Watch all Oscar nominee movies from the year
  27. Visit all 50 states, including Washington, D.C.
  28. Attend Oktoberfest in Munich
  29. Get my masters degree
  30. Get published in a national magazine
  31. Become editor of a community magazine
  32. Grow most of our own food
  33. Volunteer
  34. Write a book
  35. Attend the NHL All-Star Game
  36. Celebrate New Year’s in Times Square
  37. Spend the night in a haunted hotel
  38. Start a garden
  39. Rescue another dog
