Bummer summer

While my friends have been having the times of their lives in Spain, Italy, Greece and Orlando, I’ve been stuck in Columbia, taking summer classes, working and not being able to sleep. Summer classes were bound to happen sometime if I want to graduate on time. It’s great to have a steady paycheck again, and I really like my job at maurices.

But I wish this summer held something more. And I’m afraid it won’t.

I’ll be 21 in less than a month, but it’s not really something that I’m looking forward to like I thought I would. My birthday falls on a Wednesday, so I can’t go home to celebrate with my family or Andrew. But I will get to see Andrew the following weekend and my family the weekend before.

Hopefully this summer has something more in store for me.

Book-lovers, check out these awesome pieces of wall art.
